Alex MacLaren trained as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

He joined The Spontaneity Shop as part of our repertory company of performers in 2000, and having assisted at many corporate events and training sessions, became a full-time associate in 2006.

Among his stage performances were a number of seasons with Bristols's celebrated Tobacco Factory, including a season at London's Barbican. He has also appeared in a number of short films and radio plays.

Since joining The Spontaneity Shop full-time, Alex has been developing both the corporate and workshop programmes, and has become one of our most sought-after trainers, counting Dixons, Deloitte, CMS Cameron McKenna and The Hay Group among his clients.
