I feel like being a child when improvising.
Nothing to fear, another improvisors always support me.
Be able to express something coming from my heart directly.
Also, it's my pleasure to be able to feel another improvisors' pure hearts
and feelings.
What is your favourite improv memory?
My first improv stage overseas was in 1999 at the Big Stinkin' Comedy
Festival in Texas, USA.
It was my first time to improvise in English.
I felt very nervous, but audience were always very warm and we got the "Del
Close Award".
This experience gave me a big confidence and since then, I have been
performing overseas almost every year.
You did a show with The Spontaneity Shop in London. Did you enjoy it? What was it like?
Unforgattable and precious expericince.
All actors were great and gave me a lot of things.
I can never forget the scene that we had a sexy dance on the table in the
mime scene!
Also, Deborah's Japanese was very good!
Audience was also great. They always energized me.
What's your advice for improvisers?
Every improviser has one's own strengh and character.
So, you don't have to be try to be another improvisors.
Always be yourself.
Believe what you feel in the moment.
In that way, you can get whatever you want.
It's also important to see various kind of excellent shows like The
Spontaneity Shop everyday to develop yourself.
What's your motto for life?
I need time.
Have you heard of an American actor called Kevin Bacon? Do you know
anyone who knows him?
I love him!
Yesterday I saw "In the cut"
I think almost of all Japanese knows him, If who knows the difference
between Harrison Ford and Kevin Bacon.
Would you rather win an Oscar or get to play with a light saber?
